Manage users and grant access

As administrator, you can manage users for your domain and grant them administrator access.

Designate a administrator

  1. Click AdminAdmin.

  2. Click User management.

  3. Check on the boxes next to usernames you want to give admin access.

  4. On top, unfold the Change Privilege dropdown menu.

  5. Click Admin.

Activate or deactivate Collavate user account

  1. Click AdminAdmin.

  2. Click User Management.

  3. Check on the boxes next to usernames you want to give admin access.

  4. On top, unfold the Activation Status dropdown menu.

  5. Click Active/Inactive.

Other user managements

  • User license: You can check the number of currently activated users and total license capacity for the license you are using.

  • Search box: You can enter email address, name, or user ID to find a user..

  • Organization Chart: You can show/hide users on your organization chart.

Note:

  • User name: Username of Google account

  • User ID: User ID of Google account

  • Display Name: Name displayed and used in Collavate apart from the user information in your Google account

  • User role: User access level in Collavate

  • Active: Collavate account activation status

  • Organization Chart: Displays whether the user is visible/hidden in the organization chart

  • Division: Users work division
